MY PASSION

Entrepreneurship has always shaped me.

I was able to make entrepreneurship my profession. Entrepreneurial thinking and acting has always fascinated me and still drives me today. More than 40 years ago I set up a consulting company focused on culture, change and leadership, managed this company and now passed it on to my daughter.

MY ‘WHY’

Looking behind
the scenes.

The most diverse mandates in a wide range of industries have allowed me to look behind the scenes. I learned a lot and was able to move, stimulate and push. People I support keep asking the same questions: what makes a good entrepreneur? How do I create an entrepreneurial mindset in my employees? And how do we maintain an entrepreneurial culture long term?

MY ‘HOW’

The cornerstone of my coaching approach.

My book ‘Unternehmerblut’ summarises my thoughts and ideas on the challenges and virtues of entrepreneurship. The book is the cornerstone of my coaching approach. My aim is to develop entrepreneurial virtues as a foundation for modern and visionary leadership – meaningful, motivating and contemporary.

MY ‘WHERE’

Seeing with a
fresh perspective.

For more than 10 years I have been spending at least 5 months of the year in Cape Town. While Zug in Switzerland remains my home town, Cape Town has become my place of inspiration, letting go and letting new things come. Culture is my thing. Learning from different cultures fascinates me. Cape Town is a bridge between Africa and Europe. This Afro-European cultural tension and exchange offers the opportunity to see entrepreneurship with different eyes.

MY APPROACH

Doing things that bring me joy and energy.

I now find myself in the privileged situation to only do things that give me joy and energy. This means I focus my time and energy on people who think and act entrepreneurially. I work with people who are curious, ambitious and willing to learn and change. People who want to explore their full potential and be amongst the best in their field. To me the coach-coachee relationship is especially important. The coaching process only begins once there is a basis of a mutual commitment and a healthy, promising relationship.
